I can’t help but notice people seem to complain a lot about the price of gas.  Yet no one says a word about food.

Wheat prices are now $9.50 a bushel up 92% this year.  Corn is up about 40%.  Fully 1/3 of all the corn we grow is now burned up as ethanol.

It is clear that as China and India get wealthier, they want to eat like us as well.  That means LOTS more meat.

Brace yourself, you will see the price of food accelerate upwards even faster than the price of energy.

Of course this is occurring because of liberal fanaticism on alternative energy without any rationale.  Ethanol bad, solar good. I don’t even like the taste of Silicon, so better in solar cells.
